Larry Cotton Sr.

Larry is the former head coach of Bradley Central and Howard High Schools.

He enjoyed a very successful high school coaching career at Bradley Central never having a losing season in either boys or girls track & field or cross-country in 21 years.

His teams have always been ranked in the top ten in the state and he has coached numerous state champions and top five finishers at both schools.

He has been named coach of the year five times by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

He has more than 33 years experience in coaching and teaching and handles everything from sprinters to distance runners.

Larry Cotton Jr.

Larry Jr. or LJ was a former member of Cleveland Express from 7 to 18 years old.

During that time, he competed in the open Shot put, discus and javelin events.

He has competed at the nationals in all these events and has earned numerous medals including two 8th place national medals both in the shot put.
